Routing data and information is a breeze with Vdot's smart data migration technology.  As tasks within a process are completed, data items are automatically versioned and made available to users responsible for downstream activities.  Information is intelligently routed as efficiently as possible, automatically notifying task owners of new activities as soon as sufficient data are available.

This improves cycle time in two ways.  First, time spent chasing needed data is eliminated.  More importantly, data chase errors are eliminated.  When caught, such errors add greatly to cycle times.  When not caught, these errors lead to potentially disastrous problems or high warranty costs.

Vdot also simplifies the act of locating historical process information, allowing users with sufficient access permissions to rapidly navigate to the appropriate business process for data reuse, traceability, and reporting.  Using Vdot, it is possible to recreate the result of one or more tasks within an Active Process, even if the process was completed years ago, regardless of personnel turn-over.
